The Give Back Yoga Foundation

Makes yoga available to those who might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience its benefits. Give Back brings certified yoga teachers in all traditions to teach to under-served and under-resourced socio-economic segments of the community and inspire grassroots social change and community cooperation. The Foundation offers many resources, including the Prison Yoga Project Handbook.

Mindful Yoga

A completely volunteer based non-profit offering meditation and yoga to inmates in multiple institutions in Oregon.  Mindful Yoga facilitates Call and Response prison events in Oregon and collaborates on funding initiatives.

The Prison Seva Program

A spiritual outreach and education program for inmates. We have been operating for five years by now and have corresponded with a number of prisoners across the US about spiritual matters. Our goal is to share information about Bhakti Yoga, the ancient spiritual practice that is highly beneficial for all regardless of background, race class,gender, nationality or social status.

Street Yoga

Builds capacity in youth to overcome trauma and to create meaningful, healthy lives through yoga and mindfulness.

Trauma Resolution Center

Helping people of all nationalities and ages suffering from diverse trauma recover fully from their experiences and lead lives without traumatic stress, depression and anxiety. We have helped at-risk kids recover from their trauma and find their inner strengths. We have helped people in Drug Dependency resolve long-term patterns and lead healthy lives. We have helped vets, human trafficking victims, torture victims and everyone in between find peace in their lives.

Yoga Behind Bars

A volunteer powered nonprofit that offers incarcerated people—men, women and youth—the transformative power of yoga as a tool for self-awareness, healing, and a pathway to freedom.

Sacred Sounds

An annual event offered by the Bhakti Club at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey

Bhakti Fest is a festival which celebrates the devotional path that has its roots in yoga, kirtan, and meditation.
